I am a postdoc researcher and assistant professor at the Department of Educational Sciences, Faculty of Arts, Masaryk University. I focus on using qualitative research to explore phenomena at the intersection of education and social pedagogy. My work centers in particular on supporting socially disadvantaged students, early leaving from education, social and education policy, and career guidance.
Besides the university, I also work at the National Pedagogical Institute, where I support school leadership. I have also focused on supporting strategic planning in schools. Earlier experience includes, for example, working as a research fellow at the Educational Institute for Moravia, as a methodologist for the South Moravian Region’s Department of Education (regional action plan for education), or at JCMM as a methodologist for regional projects.
